Pick up at our workshop?
Our workshop is located in Burgundy in Comblanchien (21). All of our production is carried out on this place(6500 m2 of workshop and storage spaces for slabs and finished products). Therefore, all pick-ups by carriers are carried out in Comblanchien. The same applies to pick-ups managed by our customers (directly or by mandating a carrier).
Our showrooms in Paris (75) and La Crau (83) are sales areas and not workshop or logistic area. It is impossible to collect an order within these points of sale (excluding exhibition models).
With or without packaging ?
All our products are packaged in secure pallets (which we charge at cost price). It is possible on request not to have packaging for a withdrawal, in particular if you want to be able to load directly into the trunk of a car.
These are therefore usually small orders in weight or volume. Some examples : 2 m2 of paving, a threshold, a basin, an engraved plate .... In this case, remember to take blankets to protect your order.
Packaging (secure palette) is mandatory for any order made of any unit greater than 90 kilograms. Indeed, our team will not be able to carry this level of load without the help of a forklift.
This secure box (or pallet) has the primary objective of protecting your order during transport. In the context of a customer pick-up, we can in no way be held responsible for an incident during transport (breakage in particular).
How is the loading going?
It is sometimes difficult for our customers to realize the weight and volume of an order. Some indications: the density of Burgundy stone is on average 2250 kg / m3 or 900 kg for a pallet of 20 m2 of paving in 2 cm thick, a sink weighs on average 110 kg, a kitchen plan of 1 meter long weighs 41 kg...
So think about the vehicle adapted to your order : car, utility, dump truck, tailgate... and check its load capacity. Beyond the weight that the vehicle can support, the pallets are loaded in a given direction (see diagram below) so as not to overturn it.
So also check this point before coming to pick up your order. We know that you can come from far away, so it is important to prepare well for this pick-up.
