Active Member of the Association Pierre de Bourgogne, we have been committed to promoting and respecting stone and know-how in Burgundy stones for many years.
"IGPIA Pierre de Bourgogne"
We defend the creation of a geographical indication protecting industrial and handicraft products (IGPIA) in order to secure the purchasers of the counterfeits and the usurpation of the Burgundy stone name.
This Indication géographique will ensure the traceability of Pierres de Bourgogne products and the know-how of all the actors in the sector whose production will be carried out in the area defined in Burgundy (4 departments: 21, 71, 58 and 89).
The IG logo will be affixed to all products manufactured by companies at 100% from Burgundy, certified and controlled, and will be the only guarantee that the product you buy complies with the precise specifications of the Geographical Indication Pierre de Bourgogne.
