What are the fixing and maintenance products you offer ?
For about ten years, we have selected the most suitable products for our Burgundy limestones. This ranges from flooring and protection products with glue, seal and water repellent to cleaning products suitable for sinks, basins, shower trays… The brands distributed are Parexlanko, Mapei, Otto, Schlüter, Weber and Le Comptoir des Pierres.
When we send you a quote, we frequently integrate these fixing products. The objective is not to push you to order these complementary products but to inform you at least once during our exchanges of the products adapted to natural limestones : white glue and not gray (to avoid efflorescences), specific seals limestone to avoid migrations, cleaning product with neutral pH…
If you do not want them, you will just have to cross them out when you approve the quote. Layers or tilers especially for the floor regularly make quotes with a price per m2 – fixing products included. Check with the professional if it integrates the water repellent product (mandatory for a natural stone floor). In addition, beware of the color and the product selected for the grouting : the color can strongly impact the visual rendering of your Burgundy stone project.
Flooring (tiles and pavers) : glue, joint, water repellent
In your quote of tiles or pavers, you will find several lines detailing glue, grouting and water repellent. To advise you on the products adapted to your project, we will ask you a few questions : interior or exterior project, if indoors do you have a heated floor or not. The answers have an impact on the choice of glue (flex glue in the context of a heated floor for example) and water repellent (different between interior and exterior).
On request, we also supply Schlüter products and bond coating – Proliprim or specific seals for our wall cladding.
Kitchen and bath : fixing and maintenance kit
For a kitchen and bathroom project, we include in the quote a maintenance kit so that you know the products adapted to natural stone: neutral pH cleaner and water repellent. In addition, we offer you the necessary to install your kitchen and bathroom elements: glue adapted to the stone and silicone seal with a color consistent with the chosen stone.
We have developed a range of cleaning products adapted to your needs (routine maintenance, heavy cleaning…) : Deterquot, Detercal, Determousse, Antivoile… We do not integrate them into the quotes spontaneously but do not hesitate to ask us for them.
Note: we also market fixing kits for our street numbers or engraved plate. They are composed of dowels, screws and diamond-tipped covers (chrome or brass).
