Our team to support you.
Our company is a small to medium-sized enterprise with 14 employees and 2 directors. These teams are functionally divided among sales, production, and administration, and geographically located in Burgundy, Ile-de-France, and PACA (Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur).
We are an intermediate-sized company that combines craftsmanship, bespoke solutions, personalized support while integrating processes and structured organization for optimal customer satisfaction and to be able to meet a high level of demand.
A SALES TEAM present across 3 locations to support you
Our sales team consists of 5 people distributed across our 3 sites: Comblanchien (21) - the headquarters and workshop (all orders originate from Burgundy), Paris (75), and Toulon-La Crau (83), which serve as showrooms (with no production or warehouse facilities at these branches).
Alice Foret is our sales manager, based in Comblanchien, overseeing 4 team members: Charlène Crovisier and Bastien Jacotot in Burgundy, Eva Soos Haudry in Toulon-La Crau as well as Amélie Paris at our Paris showroom.
Each of our sites has its own telephone line, but in case of no answer (due to appointments, ongoing calls, or after-hours calls), your call is redirected to our headquarters in Burgundy. Any member of our team can assist you using our computer system that summarizes our recent interactions with you. This way, you don't need to repeat everything if your initial contact is unavailable. Following appointments at any of our sites, quotations are mostly handled in Burgundy by Alice, Charlène, or Bastien.

SALES ADMINISTRATION, for order tracking.
Sales administration in a company begins at the signing of the quote to initiate the production of your order. The tasks are of various kinds : drafting the production sheet for the workshop, ordering stone blocks from our partner quarries, arranging transportation with carriers, customer relations to inform them of order progress (order confirmation, invoicing, coordinating delivery...)
Aurélie L’Excellent is our sales administrator, based in Comblanchien (21), and has been with Le Comptoir des Pierres for 12 years. Upon acceptance of the quote, she will send you your order confirmation along with the lead times, and can provide updates or address any questions related to your order. The sales team is best suited to assist you with defining your project and selecting the stones. However, they won't be able to provide information on the progress and production once the order is placed. This segmentation has one goal: to ensure optimal performance in delivering your order with high quality and within the agreed timelines.
THE WORKSHOP
Our production workshop is located in Comblanchien, Burgundy, at the foot of the quarries. You can find more details about our operations on this page showcasing our tone cutting workshop.
Our production team consists of 8 individuals with diverse roles: stone masons, cutters, CNC operators, and workshop managers. The team's backgrounds vary, including those trained in stone cutting (CFA), skilled workers, and former quarry employees… Baptiste Alexandre is our workshop manager and oversees the cutting and finishing stations. Loïc Guilloux is our manager in charge of digital orders in terms of programming and operational functioning
You won't have direct contact with them as they focus on managing our (significant) order backlog. You may encounter them when picking up orders at the workshop or visiting our site in Burgundy. On the other hand, our sales team collaborates extensively with production to offer the best solutions for specific or particularly technical projects as needed.
The MANAGEMENT
The company's management consists of a technical and commercial duo. Jérôme Deschamps, trained as a stone mason through the "Compagnons" program and oversees the production aspects (workshop, material sourcing, technical drawings...). Thibaut Remy handles the commercial and marketing aspects (website, communication...). It's a family-owned business as the two directors are brothers-in-law (married to two sisters).
She is in daily contact with both directors regarding all aspects necessary for the smooth operation of the company.
