1/ The volume of limestone
The volume of limestone is indeed the primary factor influencing the price of our pool copings. This volume is determined by both the dimensions of the pool - for example, a 9 by 4 meter pool requires 27.4 linear meters of copings that are 35 cm wide (excluding cuts) - and the choice of coping: width and thickness. A coping that is 15 cm thick will not cost the same as a standard 3 cm coping. Specific stones like Comblanchien stone will also cost more than our more common stones such as Lanvignes Doré-Jaune and Semond Nuancé.
2/ The finish
The time spent by our stone masons will also impact the price of your pool copings. We offer 3 standard finishes that you can explore on our page dedicated to our coping finishes. A Rustic finish will take more time than a Classic Finish, for example.
3/ The specificities
Your pool may require specific fittings that are not found on all pools. This could include a Roman staircase on one of the widths of the pool or corner copings to neatly cover the pool shell.
A Roman staircase, which consists of a set of curved copings, requires more material and machining time than straight copings. Similarly, a coping with a radiused notch will be shaped using our CNC orders.
A half-round coping on the pool side will also be significantly more expensive than our standard straight edge. A curved coping instead of a flat one will also have a higher budget impact.
