The outdoor kitchen - a growing trend that allows you to fully enjoy your outdoor spaces by making them practical, aesthetic, and inviting.
Similar to a traditional indoor kitchen, an outdoor kitchen should be tailored in size and layout based on usage patterns and frequency. In regions where the warm season is limited to summer months, outdoor kitchen countertops and storage areas may be smaller than their indoor counterparts. These kitchens are often sheltered by a shed, pergola, or other structures.
The questions to ask are the same as for a classic kitchen : single or double sink, with or without a drainboard, what support, countertop with or without grooves, presence of an island or countertop... Installing a barbecue or plancha is particularly practical in this setup.
Stone is highly suitable for outdoor kitchens, especially when they are sheltered. Burgundy limestone will enhance the aesthetics of this new outdoor space. We offer 9 types of limestone and finishes for kitchen elements such as sinks, legs, countertops, backsplashes, and range hoods. Some stones are susceptible to frost and are not recommended for outdoor use, such as Charmot stone, Blue Lignières stone, or Corton stone. Recommendations may vary based on region and whether your kitchen is sheltered.
Also consider stone table tops and garden decorations like fountains or benches.
