The devil is in the details ! When planning a stone pool project, it’s a shame not to consider the visual treatment of your skimmers. Indeed, a PVC skimmer cover doesn’t complement the elegance of Burgundy limestone pool copings.
We can custom-make a specific stone skimmer plate (or coping skimmer cover) in a square or round shape with a perforation. Generally, we don’t just create the cover but an entire set consisting of a plate (often called a frame) with a perforation, and a stone cover. This cover is also perforated to allow manual removal. The plate has a rabbet to accommodate the cover. We pay close attention to the thickness of the cover to ensure it is easily manageable.

Even if you haven't purchased pool copings from Comptoir des Pierres, we can provide you with just the skimmer plate or cover if needed. Please specify the dimensions for an accurate quote. As a reference, the outer diameter of round skimmer openings is often around 24 cm with an inner diameter of 21 cm. We can match the same finishes as our pool copings.
