We create your coping stones (top of wall or wall cap or wall crown or wall hat) in straight or curved shapes, in all standard dimensions or custom-made, with a drip edge (also known as a water drip) as an option.

Ideal for perfecting your stone wall or low wall project in Burgundy limestone. The function of the coping stone, beyond aesthetics, is to protect the wall from water infiltration.

In terms of length, we recommend free lengths (coping stones with random lengths), which give a very harmonious look in natural stone. We also offer fixed-length coping stones of 100 cm.

The wall coping is usually installed with a slight overhang compared to the structure. We recommend an overhang of 5 cm from the low wall, for example, a 30 cm coping for a 20 cm concrete block. The water drips will divert rainwater so it doesn’t run down the wall, and these water drips are especially useful in the case of a rendered wall. As standard, we position the water drips 1 cm from the edge (other placements are available on request at no extra cost).

Our coping stones can be made with a rounded top or with slopes.

Mineralizing Agent for Natural Burgundy Stone. Mineralization. Treatment and Protection. All Surfaces

Mineralizing agents for natural stone are becoming increasingly popular. Historically, natural stone was treated with water repellents that saturate the stone to make it less porous and less sensitive to stains. These treatments are not permanent and must be reapplied regularly, especially on outdoor terraces.

The mineralizing agent is a non-film-forming solution that penetrates by capillarity and transforms free lime and cavities into silica through a chemical reaction. It is a solution of polycrystalline silicon. This reaction is called mineralization. The goal is to consolidate and waterproof all porous mineral surfaces. The surfaces are treated deeply due to the strong capillarity; additionally, they are not sensitive to UV rays. Treated surfaces are then more resistant to external attacks and easier to clean.

This treatment is permanent. We recommend it over traditional water repellents (if your budget allows) for your outdoor projects: terraces, pathways, and pool copings, particularly for the following stones: Massangis and Semond. We invite you to learn more about our mineralizing agent and the situations in which we recommend it.

Container sizes: 2 liters or 5 liters. Coverage: between 8 and 10 m² per liter. Two coats are necessary.
