We regularly recruit for various positions within the company (production, sales, sales administration), primarily at our Comblanchien site in Burgundy, but also occasionally in Paris and the Var for our showrooms (sales profiles).
The Current Team
The Comptoir des Pierres team consists of 13 employees across 3 departments :
-Production: 7 people in various roles corresponding to the stages of stone cutting production (saw operator, CNC programmer, stonemasons, warehouse worker). Stonemasons make up half of our production staff and are supervised by a more experienced team leader.
-Sales: 5 people in sales, including 3 based in Burgundy at the production site, 1 in the Var at our showroom in La Crau, and 1 in Paris at our showroom in Nation (Paris 12). A sales manager oversees our entire sales process and trains the teams.
- Sales Administration: Our agency director is responsible for sales administration, which comes into play after a quote is signed. Tasks include translating customer orders into production sheets, commissioning our transport partners to pick up orders, sending order confirmations and balance invoices to customers, and handling after-sales service if needed.
The average age is 37 years, with an average tenure of 5 years. These figures should be viewed in light of the doubling of our workforce over the past 4 years.

Experience in the stone cutting or construction sector is obviously a plus but is not at all a requirement. Indeed, we place more emphasis on interpersonal skills and the potential for growth and learning.
