Corton stone is particularly appreciated in renovations. This beautiful stone, immediately recognizable by its pinkish beige look, is an authentic stone full of history. Its low porosity and its colours make maintenance very easy. Large-scale projects were carried out in Corton stone including the Museum of Fine Arts in Dijon (Burgundy). Its low porosity and its colors make it a very easy maintenance stone.

Corton stone is part of the family of hard stones with Comblanchien and Rocherons.

On the other hand, this Corton stone will only have an inner destination because it fears frost. In Corton we can also make table tops or furniture and decoration elements.

Limestone – Tiles – Paving – Charmot. Paving Natural stones. Charmot Burgundy limestone will bring light and “noblesse” to your interior.

The presence of subtle grey shells and inclusions make it a paving that will give a sense of warmth to your interior.

Ideal in indoor projects as flooring or wall tiling, it will match perfectly with our sinks, washbasins or shower trays in Charmot light.

3 finishes are possible : Honed, Brushed and Antique (see photos).

This stone native from Tonnerre (Yonne area) is Protected Geographical Indication Burgundy Limestone. A certificate will be given to order, discover more on this link on our traceability of PGI Burgundy Limestone

This paving is used specifically for our cabochons paving or Checkerboard format

Buffon limestone – Natural stone from the region of Châtillon-sur-Seine (North Côte d’Or). Natural white or beige stone. Light colored stone.

The Buffon quarry located in Etrochey offers us mainly light colors (white to beige). This stone is only intended for interior projects and shows all its charms in honed finish. Some level in the quarry (or vein) of the Buffon limestone are particularly suited to heavy traffic and are thus used for shopping centers, public places …

Several levels exist in Buffon’s quarry with relatively large variations in colors. We have selected 5 “types” of Buffon limestone for you. Depending on their characteristic, we cut them either horizontally or in the direction of the bed of the quarry; that is to say in the direction of sedimentation or vertically. A vertical cut highlights the sedimentation beds and thus makes it possible to obtain a more veined, more textured pavement.

Ideal for your bathroom projects for flooring or wall tiling, it will match perfectly with our sinks, washbasins or shower trays

in Bleu de Lignières. It will also sublimate your kitchen project or living room in flooring.

Bleu de Lignières limestone is available in 2 finishes : honed or lightly brushed. This stone native to Yonne area (between Dijon and Paris) is Protected Geographical Indication Pierre de Bourgogne.

It is one of the "darkest" stones in the Burgundy stone range.

Flagstones Paving in Burgundy limestone : Beaunotte

Its original structure with its contrasting colors, marked veining and richness in seashells gives it a classic and contemporary feeling.

The Beaunotte limestone is native to the region of Chatillon-sur-Seine (north Côte d’Or). It is fully expressed with «rustic» finishes : Brushed, Monastère (brushed with aged edges) or Antique (brushed with brushed edges).

On request, we can also make pool copings or stairs in this Beaunotte stone.

We offer classic installation tools for our natural stone pavings and tiles: glue comb, trowel, sponges...

This grouting sponge has two sides: one red for "smoothing" / "scraping" the excess joint that has already slightly dried, and the other more traditional side for cleaning the unset joint. Note: cleaning the joints with a sponge should always be done diagonally to avoid emptying the joint.

Detergent, degreasing agent, pH-neutral product and biodegradable for natural stone

Cleans and respects natural stone, user and environment.

The concentrated degreasing detergent at neutral pH is essential for daily maintenance and cleaning of natural stone.

Acidic cleaner for natural stone. Remove grout haze from limestone.

Eliminates the veil of cement or lime after laying the natural stone. Cleaning.

Organic acid-based detergent for the removal of the surface layer of cement and lime on natural stone.

1 liter diluted to 50% treats between 10 and 15 m2.

The double monument is a beautiful and powerful symbol of love, uniting two people side by side for eternity. It also conveys a strong message to future generations. This type of monument is not the most common in a cemetery, as it requires a double concession and a double vault with specific administrative procedures (which differ if it involves spouses or siblings, for example).

As for the double tombstone itself, it can consist of two adjacent tombstones (or with a slight separation) or a single large slab. Our monuments are fully customizable with different stones, specific engraving colors, or custom headstones. A funeral monument encompasses the entire burial site (foundation, base, tombstone, stele, etc.). The tombstone is solely the horizontal part.

Regarding funeral monument models, the two most classic are the funeral monument with a prayer desk or the funeral monument with a planter. As a manufacturer, we can create a unique monument while assisting you. We can construct the entire monument or just a part (only the stele, the tombstone, or the base).

We primarily create your monuments to measure in 5 types of stone: Light Comblanchien, Slightly Speckled Comblanchien, Golden Yellow Lanvignes, Nuanced Semond, and Nuanced Ampilly.

FUNERAL MONUMENT consisting of a tombstone measuring 200 x 100 cm and a flat base measuring 240 x 140 cm. The thickness of the base is 5 cm, and that of the tombstone is 10 or 15 cm. The total height of the monument is therefore 15 or 20 cm. The width of the base is 30 cm (including 10 cm of bedding under the tombstone).

With its free-flow drainage and removable plug, it allows you to control water evacuation as needed. Combining functionality and elegance, this waste is the perfect addition to your stone kitchen sink.

Solid jambs in limestone

Discover our four models of solid jambs (Bastide, Bonnieux, Meursault, Corton), which we will adapt to the chosen natural limestone sink or basin according to depth and height.

Possibility of adding a groove to accommodate a shelf or tabletop (in stone or wood).

Adjust the dimensions of your jambs to match the selected sink or basin. For example, for a desired height of 90 cm with a 20 cm high sink, choose 70 cm jambs.

Our countertops are custom-made to fit your sink, with cutouts for the drain and faucet. They can also include a cutout for recessed installation and connection to your sink. The countertops can be designed for either a single sink or a double sink.

Discover our wall tiling in the same stone as your washbasin or shower tray.

You can choose to highlight only the natural stone in the shower area (extensions in continuity with the shower tray) or cover the entire bathroom walls. These same stones can also be used for your bathroom flooring.

Four standard formats are available: Roman bands of 30 or 40 cm (free lengths) or square formats (30 x 30 cm and 40 x 40 cm). We strongly recommend waterproofing your stones with our Imperpierre product.

Undermount Kitchen Sink in Stone

All our stone sink models can be made and adapted in an undermount version with just the basin or the basin and drainer on the countertop (minimum thickness of 3 cm). It is also important to keep in mind that this is natural stone, so the minimum for strength reasons is a 3 cm perimeter around the basin.

Corton Cladding Stone – Wall Cladding in Corton Stone. These cladding stones will elegantly cover your exterior or interior walls.

The dominant colors are golden-red with orange shades. Corton stone is iconic to the Burgundy Wine Region. This stone can be seen along the Grands Crus Route and is a key element in the construction of Burgundy vineyard walls (clos).

It is used to build walls and small barriers that separate the "Climats." We also work with Corton stone in flooring, framing, sinks, basins, etc. The dimensions vary in height and length to achieve a look similar to an authentic stone wall.

We also create L-shaped cladding for your corner chains (giving the appearance of solid stone). The cladding stones can be jointed or not.

Cladding tiles in stone – Wall cladding in Châtillonnais stone. The cladding stones will adorn your facades or interior walls with character.

The dominant colors are beige cream to golden yellow. The dimensions of the tiles are variable in height and length for a look close to an authentic stone wall. We also make corner cladding in L-shapes for your corner chains (giving the impression of solid stone). The stones can be grouted or not.

Châtillonnais stone cladding is the most affordable compared to stones from Yonne and Corton.

Sawn opus incertum in Comblanchien limestone, Various Nuanced Choices (DCN). Thickness 1.5 cm. Rough sawn finish.

This model is substantially identical to the Sanary model without mouldings, thus having straight edges (and a lower cost).

This fountain, in the form of a circular basin in stone, is often seen in village squares or outside castles or beautiful French homes.

This fountain consists of 15 radiating elements (or curved coping stones) and mouldings, with a total outer dimension of 250 cm and an inner dimension of 210 cm; the thickness of the basin edges is 20 cm.

This fountain is available in a round shape or as an octagonal basin in natural stone. We can also manufacture a central pillar with multiple water outlets.

Tiling – Cabochon tiling, the modernity of the remarkable flooring of 18th-century classic interiors.

With our Burgundy stones for tiles and our cabochons in black (blue stone – origin Belgium) or golden-yellow (Lanvignes – Burgundy Stone IG), you will give an inimitable style to your interior.

With our cabochon tiles, you can choose between traditional laying without borders or with a border, laid at 45° or 90°, with 1, 2, or 4 cut edges. The traditional layout for a cabochon tile is with 4 cut edges.

Our cabochon tiles are made to order in all formats and finishes, from the most classic (smoothed) to the most authentic (antique). Whether for new construction or renovation, our flooring can be laid without constraints.

Cabochon Tiling : Stones and finishes

Two Burgundy stones are particularly well-suited for cabochon tiling : Charmot limestone and Semond stone. The relatively hard Charmot stone allows for a perfect smooth finish. The softer Semond stone is enhanced with an Antique or Old Tiles finish. Depending on your chosen finish, we will use different stones to achieve exceptional results!

Our cabochons are made from either Belgian Blue Stone (origin Belgium) for a deep, almost black color or from Lanvignes Golden-Yellow Burgundy Stone to soften the contrast between the tiles and the cabochons.

Organize your exteriors (garden, terrace, etc.) with style and refinement using these rounded stone borders, available in golden-yellow, beige-cream, or beige-brown colors depending on the chosen stone. Multiple widths and heights are available.

Also available in flat edging (more economical – approximately 40% less expensive). Custom options for curved borders are possible.

We also make roadway borders (or curb stones), especially with the hard Comblanchien limestone. A quarter-round is typically made on the street side.

Joint in beige color ("stone tone"), ideal for Burgundy stone facing, selected by Le Comptoir des Pierres for your projects.

Le Comptoir des Pierres has selected for you the product Webercal-F 016 from the manufacturer Weber, a reference brand in the building industry.

This product is ideal for confidently carrying out your installation of natural or split-faced Burgundy limestone with a perfectly adapted beige joint color. The estimated yield is 5 to 7 m² for joints with a width of 1.5 cm. This ready-to-use joint is also used to grout stones for walls, rubble, or strips during wall construction. Due to its granularity, it is more suitable than the Parexlanko Prolijoint grout, which is recommended for slabs and pavers. Bag of 25 kg.
