Floorings and Pavings

This elegant and authentic Ampilly Blended Burgundy limestone is ideal for tiles and paving, particularly in rustic finishes.

It works well with finishes like Antique or in reproductions of Old Burgundy paving, such as Vieilles Dalles de Bourgogne, as well as in more contemporary finishes like honed or brushed.

Our Ampilly Blended stone is a blend of Ampilly Striped ("Tiger") and Medium, creating beautiful, nuanced tones without a "patchwork" effect.

Flagstones Paving in Burgundy limestone : Beaunotte

Its original structure with its contrasting colors, marked veining and richness in seashells gives it a classic and contemporary feeling.

The Beaunotte limestone is native to the region of Chatillon-sur-Seine (north Côte d’Or). It is fully expressed with «rustic» finishes : Brushed, Monastère (brushed with aged edges) or Antique (brushed with brushed edges).

On request, we can also make pool copings or stairs in this Beaunotte stone.

Discover our paving tiles in authentic Belgian Bluestone.

Recognized as one of the best natural building materials alongside Burgundy stone, Belgian Blue Stone is a sedimentary limestone.

Belgian Blue Stone is characterized by the presence of numerous fossil fragments, cemented by a microcrystalline matrix containing finely divided carbon. Its color ranges from light gray to deep black depending on the finish (patinated, brushed, or antique).

This stone is used to create cabochon-patterned flooring.

We also craft Belgian Blue Stone sinks, basins, and blue stone shower trays. Contact us for any project in Belgian Blue Stone.

Blended Semond Cobblestones

Our Chatillonnais Blended Semond cobblestones are used both indoors and outdoors (driveways, terraces, garage exits…). Their color is cream beige with gray sedimentary patches.

They beautifully complement all surfaces while respecting the character of the surroundings.

Suitable for both small and large areas, they can be made in various thicknesses.

Bluestone cobblestones (origin Belgium). Authentic Belgian blue stone pavers.

The Antique finish is perfectly suited to the exterior with its colors and shades gray blue. The edges and corners are slightly rounded and these cobblestones patinate over time.

The blue stone married to this Antique finish (aged vibrated) offers us pavers or slabs very resistant to sun and rain.

Buffon limestone – Natural stone from the region of Châtillon-sur-Seine (North Côte d’Or). Natural white or beige stone. Light colored stone.

The Buffon quarry located in Etrochey offers us mainly light colors (white to beige). This stone is only intended for interior projects and shows all its charms in honed finish. Some level in the quarry (or vein) of the Buffon limestone are particularly suited to heavy traffic and are thus used for shopping centers, public places …

Several levels exist in Buffon’s quarry with relatively large variations in colors. We have selected 5 “types” of Buffon limestone for you. Depending on their characteristic, we cut them either horizontally or in the direction of the bed of the quarry; that is to say in the direction of sedimentation or vertically. A vertical cut highlights the sedimentation beds and thus makes it possible to obtain a more veined, more textured pavement.

Discover our photos on the carousel. By clicking on these you will see the subtitle that specifies the “type” of Buffon limestone, the cut and the finish.

These are the following stones:

Our cabochon tiling, for the entrance, kitchen, or living room, guarantees great elegance for your interior.

Cabochon Tiling : Stones and finishes

Two Burgundy stones are particularly well-suited for cabochon tiling : Charmot limestone and Semond stone. The relatively hard Charmot stone allows for a perfect smooth finish. The softer Semond stone is enhanced with an Antique or Old Tiles finish. Depending on your chosen finish, we will use different stones to achieve exceptional results!

Our cabochons are made from either Belgian Blue Stone (origin Belgium) for a deep, almost black color or from Lanvignes Golden-Yellow Burgundy Stone to soften the contrast between the tiles and the cabochons.

Blended Chassagne (from pink to purple colors). Chassagne Beauharnais (beige).

Chassagne limestone, one of the noblest stones extracted in Burgundy, is also one of the rarest. Indeed the quarry located in the town of Chassagne (also known for its Grands Crus: Chassagne-Montrachet, Batard-Montrachet …) is no longer exploited.

We also have paving or wall covering in Chassagne limestone with shades from pink to purple or Chassagne Beauharnais (beige color without pink or purple veins). Chassagne limestone (espacially the Beauharnais type) contains veins of quartz, this is what makes its charm in particular These veins of quartz are much harder than stone (without any risk of breakage).

We offer a single finish that sublimates the Chassagne stone, it is the honed finish for all your interior projects. We have 2 lots of Chassagne left : Blended Chassagne and Chassagne Beauharnais.

The perfect Burgundy limestone for your interior and exterior paving

Our tiles and paving in Burgundy limestone are manufactured on request in our workshops and can be offered in standard dimensions: opus in bands, regular formats, roman opus, tiles with cabochons,… and can also be manufactured in specific dimensions, up to 60 x 120 cm.

Our cobble stones in Burgundy limestones and our Burgundy limestone tomettes/tiles are also made to order and can be declined in several formats and thicknesses.

We produce our paving in Burgundy limestone for our customers in traditional finishes (honed, aged) and realize exclusive finishes (Monastère, Vieux Beaune, Vieilles Dalles de Bourgogne : reproduction of old slabs) for our customers. Additionally, we work with two types of opus incertum in Burgundy stone to create terraces or pathways with irregularly shaped slabs.

Custom made Burgundy limestone

We can manufacture in the same stone and finish as your flooring : your skirting, your stairs, your thresholds, your window sills, your window and doors frames, your kitchen sink, your washbasin and shower tray for the bathroom, your pool coping,… Thanks to these materials and being a manufacturer we can study and offer a large range of products.

For your full understanding: the stones of Buffon and Chassagne, although extracted in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, are not recognized under the Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) "Pierre de Bourgogne" and therefore do not benefit from the designation.

Blue stone (origin Belgium) for a color contrast with Burgundy limestone paving and cobblestones.

We work with blue stone (origin Belgium) for darker tones that contrast with our Burgundy stones: cabochon paving, checkerboard paving, peripheral bands, and the Saint-Sauveur model paving. The more polished the blue stone is, the closer it gets to black. Conversely, in an aged finish, it will have a light gray/dark gray color.
