The backsplash protects the wall from water splashes (or grease near a cooking hob). It is placed between the sink or kitchen countertop and the upper cabinets. It can have different heights, with a larger dimension above the sink (or cooking hob) and a lower height along the countertop—this is then referred to as a plinth or upstand.

The drilling options are customizable and positioned according to your specifications on these natural stone backsplashes. The two most common configurations are : two drillings for a bridge faucet or no drilling if the mixer tap is installed on the sink.
