Natural stone pillar cap. Capital of a pillar. Crowning of a stone gate pillar. Flat, molded, or diamond-pointed cap. Finial ball available upon request.

The pillar cap usually extends beyond the gates of your entrance. Its dimensions should be proportionate to the section and height of the pillar. A flat or diamond-pointed cap will be more appropriate with a straight pillar without molding, while a more ornate crowning will harmonize better with a beveled pillar with a chamfered base, for example.

We realize all your projects for natural Burgundy limestone pillar caps. Send us your sketches or submit your ideas for advice.

Natural Burgundy limestone pillar

Our Merceuil stone pillar model, the refinement and elegance of a successful entrance.

The functional purpose of a stone pillar is to mark the boundaries of your property. However, the pair of pillars framing a swinging or sliding gate (or even without a gate) also has a decorative role. As an individual element, the pillar or pilaster can be used as a support post for a roof overhang, pergola, or veranda.

We can fabricate only part of the elements for a renovation: pillar cap, underside of cap, collar, shaft, or base.

Available in Semond Nuanced, Lanvignes Gold-Yellow, or Ampilly Striated stone. Custom fabrication possible (straight pillar, square pillar, pillar cladding in veneer or slabs, flat or diamond-pointed capital, pillar cap with molding, etc.)
